Quantity Surveyor – Subcontractor

💼 Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Benefits
The Role:
This is a high-impact commercial position. You’ll work closely with our senior commercial team and directly with key subcontractor and client stakeholders on live infrastructure and specialist construction projects.
As part of the Ginjo Construction services team, you’ll take the lead on application reviews, variation submissions, and package control — all while navigating the contractual and commercial challenges faced by our delivery teams. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and client-facing.
Main Responsibilities:

Managing subcontractor packages from pre-contract to final account under NEC and JCT contracts

Preparing, reviewing, and submitting payment applications, valuations, and variation claims

Providing clear commercial advice on entitlement, evidence, and strategy

Liaising with client-side QS teams to agree commercial positions and resolve disputes

Ensuring contract compliance and risk visibility using structured processes and live trackers

Supporting month-end reporting, forecasting, and commercial dashboards in collaboration with our systems team
