Challenge
Balancing design change with commercial discipline
The STEGRA EPC project involved complex design packages, process plant coordination, and engineering integration across multiple contractors and countries. With evolving design requirements and high-value contract packages, AFRY required commercial support that could keep pace with scope evolution and maintain control of budget drift.
Ginjo was engaged to bring structured variation control and commercial clarity to the design process – bridging the gap between engineering changes and contract administration.
Solution
Design-integrated commercial tracking
Ginjo embedded into AFRY’s delivery team to track change events, structure variation workflows, and support contractor evaluations. We reviewed the commercial impact of engineering changes in real time and applied transparent cost control through live dashboards and structured templates.
This ensured variation approvals, payment applications, and final account positions were always backed by verified commercial logic.
Results
Commercial control across evolving scope
-
Reduction in variation approval times
